Apartment shooting victim in fair condition

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- A man is recovering from a gunshot wound after a shooting incident at the Racquet Club apartments.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office received a report of gun fire at 2915 Orchard Avenue just after 11 p.m. on Oct. 1.

One man was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound, and he was in fair condition as of 9:45 a.m. His identity has not been released.

No one has been arrested at this time, and the investigation is on-going.

Deputies are attempting to locate a vehicle stolen from the scene of the shooting. The vehicle is a green Honda Accord, license plate 091-YAM.
