GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) UPDATE:
All day on Tuesday, October 15th, the Chilli's on 25 road just south of Patterson is holding a "give back" day, where a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Frank.
Testicular cancer foundation founder, Kim Jones, will be presenting the money to Frank sometime between 7 and 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
On Monday evening, Grand Valley residents came out in force, put on their masks and donned their capes to benefit FrankStrong.
Frank Born is a Grand Junction resident, battling stage three testicular cancer.
Born's case has been a tough one, the chemotherapy hasn't made much of an impact and soon he'll be getting a more aggressive treatment in Seattle.
But he says he's staying strong with the outpouring of support he's received from family, friends and the community.
"It's just made the fight ten times easier for me because it's not just one person fighting," says Born" "I'm fighting for tons of people and I don't want to let them down and I don't want to let myself down at the same time."
