CMU Music Department presents A Cello Night

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Colorado Mesa University Music Faculty Kristen Yeon Ji-Yun will present an evening of cello music along with other colleagues. This recital will take place on May 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Moss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.

The performers will present pieces by David Popper, Luigi Boccherini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven.

Yun is a new assistant professor at CMU this year. She is a top prize winner in numerous competitions around the world. She also received a Doctoral degree in 2012 from Indiana University, where she studied with world famous cellist Janos Starker.
