Colo. parks honor Veterans Day with free admission
DENVER (AP) -- Veterans and current members of the military will receive free admission to Colorado's 42 state parks in honor of Veterans Day.
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission says the free admission will be offered Monday, Nov. 12, a day after Veterans Day.
Gov. John Hickenlooper said in a news release Monday that "we want to honor all service members on Veterans Day for putting their country first, often before family, friends and themselves."
Proof of service must be presented at the park gate, and all other passengers in the vehicle also will be admitted for free.

They deserve anything that we can do for them no matter how much. We owe them greatly and should show our gratitude for protecting us from the evil of the world. Unlike the able-bodied cowards who take credit for doing nothing for this country but inhales it free air on the blood of our veterans.
