Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Saying goodbye can be tough, and for four Grand Junction city council members, that is very true. On Tuesday, the city held an open house for those council members who won't be returning for another term.
The four council members are Teresa Coons, Tom Kenyon, Mayor Pro Tem Laura Luke and Mayor Bill Pitts.
Wednesday will be the last city council for the four outgoing council members. In memory of their service to the city, each will have a tree planted at a local park.
