COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Wildlife officials are looking for a coyote they say attacked two small children at a Colorado Springs park.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesman Michael Seraphin tells KUSA-TV (http://on9news.tv/10FvGvq ) in Denver that both attacks at Goose Gossage Park were reported between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday.

He says that in the first attack, a 4-year-old girl was nipped "in the behind" but was not injured. Another girl was attacked less than an hour later and suffered several gashes on her head that required stitches.

Seraphin says the same coyote is responsible for both attacks, and the animal will be euthanized when it is found.
