GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Junction Police Department has begun registering participants for the next Crime Free Multi-Housing course that will be hold on October 22nd and 23rd. The program is a very useful way for the police department to partner with the community to fight crime by teaching property owners and managers how to keep illegal and nuisance activity out, and to provide a safer, more habitable environment for residents.
In order to be certified in the Crime Free Multi-Housing program, property owners and managers must go through a 3-step process. The first step is to attend the upcoming class on October 22nd and 23rd at the Police Department at 555 Ute Ave, from 1pm-5pm on both days. All multi-housing property owners and managers are encouraged to attend, as well as any landlord with rental property.
You can register for class at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3279626451.
