GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Colorado State Patrol is reminding drivers not to drink and drive after a man dies by rolling his vehicle.
The accident happened just after midnight early Sunday morning. CSP says a car was traveling eastbound on I-70 near mile marker 23 when it veered into the median. The car flipped multiple times, ejecting the male driver from the passenger side window.
The man was found dead in the eastbound lanes by authorities. The coroner's office removed the body from the scene, and officials say alcohol is considered to be a factor in the crash.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
