GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in identifying the suspects involved in a theft from a business located in the 300 block of Grand Avenue.
Sometime between 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 24 and 8 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 29, unknown suspects removed three copper backflow preventers approximately three feet high from the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce. The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating twelve other theft cases of backflow preventers. The estimated loss in these cases is over $5,000.
