Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) - The deconstruction of White Hall is just about done. Downtown Development Authority Director Harry Weiss says the demolition work should be done on Friday.
After its completion, he and other downtown officials will head back to city council, where they are asking for the new council to weigh in on what should be done with the remaining structure.
There had been a verbal agreement with the old council that the DDA would take it over, but Weiss says there's nothing formal with the new council.
Much of White Hall was destroyed in a fire in September of 2011.
