GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Two rescue dogs are making a difference across America.
Max and Grace are walking with their owners-- Kait and John Seyal-- across America, stopping at hospitals, schools, retirement and children's homes.
On Monday they stopped at the VA Medical Center in Grand Junction for a visit.
They embarked on their journey in Lewes, Delaware, and hope to make it to San Francisco by late November. By the time they reach their destination they will have walked 3,400 miles.
The proceeds from the Walk Across America will be donated to Pawsibilities Unleashed.
Pawsibilities Unleashed is a group that trains rescued animals for service and therapy. The couple walking the dogs is celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary on Tuesday here in Grand Junction.
