GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Local businesses crunched the numbers from a busy retail weekend and the area was busiest on Small Business Saturday, said the owner of Main Street's Colorado Baby, Megan Reinertsen.

Colorado Baby had its best day of sales yet this year on Saturday, but also reached its goal for sales on Black Friday.

"It was great, but Saturday was constant," Reinertsen said. "There were a few slow moments, but for the most part it was continuous. A lot of people from out of town."

Colorado Baby and other Main Street stores offered promotions for customers throughout the weekend.

Reinertsen said even the day before Thanksgiving brought in some extra customers. She said most of them were from out of town and strolling down Main Street with their families.
