Driver flees car after crashing into house

A man drives his car into a home and leaves his passengers and car behind.

It happened early Saturday morning around 12:30 a.m. Colorado State Patrol says a 2003 jeep was traveling eastbound on E road near 33 Road. The driver went through a stop sign, hit a curb and utility box before finally hitting a house.

Authorities say the driver allegedly fled on foot and remains unidentified at this time. Thirty-three year old Charles Kirby and 28-year old Lucas Hartung, both of Clifton, were in the car when authorities arrived.

They say Hartung suffered serious injuries, Kirby was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation but excessive speed is believed to have contributed to the crash.

"They say Hartung suffered serious injuries, Hartung was not hurt." Which is it ---- Was he or wasn't he? "driver allegedly fled on foot and remains unidentified" But yet they have 2 passengers still at the scene! WTF, Guess their both playing the Monkey NO SEE / NO SPEAK / NO HEAR Game. Simple, they don't want to cough up the info, charge them, after all they aren't Jesus are they, just maybe there is NO #3.
