Drunk driving accident sends four to hospital

CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO) -- Four are rushed to the hospital after an impaired driver hits their car.

Colorado State Patrol responded to a call on 31 1/2 Road and F 1/2 Road around 5:45 p.m. Sunday evening.

Authorities say a pickup truck ran a stop sign and hit a car. There were two adults and two children in that vehicle, and some had to be cut out by the fire department.

CSP says it believes alcohol is a factor in the crash, but no charges have been filed yet.
