The Western Colorado Center for the Arts: Holiday Day Camp for Kids 2013

December 31: Celebrate a Chinese and Korean New Year (traditionally celebrated January 31) and Festive Mask Making

January 2: Survival Bracelets, Painting Big, Messenger Spinner

January 3: Music & Movement, Faux Alcohol Ink, and Exploring Sculpture

5-12 years of age

10:00am – 3:00pm

$18 per day Members / $20 Non- members

Cross Orchards Historic Site: The Grand Valley Model Railroad Club presents their 25th Annual Christmas Train Show

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. District 51 students still have a week to go until school is back in session, but for parents struggling to find daycare there are many events going around town will keep your kids busy.

The Western Colorado Center for the Arts is offering classes all week helping kids have creative fun during their vacation.

One project has students working on life size self portraits they then turned into soft sculptures.
