Fruita, Colo. (KKCO) --- Officials say our location along the I-70 corridor makes the western slope a perfect place for traffickers to store children overnight during a cross-state journey; and with the FBI's recent sex trafficking raids, many locals are looking for ways to help in any way they can with this hot-button issue.

Victory Life Church's Windows of Heaven fundraiser golf tournament at Adobe Creek National Golf Course this weekend allows Western Slope residents to do just that by helping raise money for Sarah's Home.

"It's an opportunity, for us to raise money for an incredible new opportunity on the front-range," says Victory Life Church Senior Associate Pastor Josh Cook.

Sarah's home is a safe house on the front-range where victims of sex trafficking can go to begin rebuilding their lives.
