GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. This holiday season when you give back to the community you can get something back in return.

Intermountain Auto Sales is accepting non-perishable food donations up until Christmas Eve.

If you donate five cans of food at Intermountain, you'll receive a coupon for $5 off an oil change at Midas or Atlas Automotive. If you donate 10 cans of food, you can get $1,000 off the a purchase of a vehicle from Intermountain. The food collected will benefit Grand Valley veterans.

"I was a veteran as well as the previous generations of my family are all veterans. And I know how tough it can be, me transitioning from the military to civilian life," says Greagory Tulk, of Intermountain Auto Sales.

You can drop off food donations at Intermountain Auto Sales from Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. This is the first year they've held the food drive, and they say it definitely won't be the last.
