GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Grand Junction VA Medical Center is making it even easier to get vaccinated for the flu.

Tuesday, Sept. 18, they're hosting another drive-thru flu shot clinic today, where veterans can get a quick and free vaccine.

Veterans can head down to the VA Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, and again this afternoon form 1 to 3 p.m.

They ask that vets use the front entrance, wear short sleeve shirts and provide proof that you were in the military.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone at least six months and older should get vaccinated this season.
