Free flu shots available today

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Doctors say the peak of flu season has come and gone, but it's not over. Here in the West, we'll still see influenza cases pop up for at least a few more weeks, according to experts.

So on Monday, the Good Samaritan Clinic of Western Colorado is giving away 90 free flu shots between 4 and 6 p.m. The shots will be administered at the nonprofit's office: 2470 Patterson Road #1B in Grand Junction.

The vaccine will only be given to adults.

The Good Samaritan Clinic is a free medical clinic that operates with volunteer medical staff.
