You and your family can get up close to the air show action this weekend.
The Grand Junction Air Show officially kicks off today and runs through Sunday down at the Grand Junction Regional Airport, featuring close to 20 aerial performances by military and non-military aircraft.
Of course, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be the featured act of the weekend. They'll headline Saturday and Sunday’s shows.
You can purchase tickets online or at the gate. All proceeds benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
Tonight's event is free for kids 12 and under. The doors open at 6 p.m. this evening, and tickets for adults are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Saturday and Sunday, doors open at 9 a.m., and tickets are $20 for adults in advance, $25 at the door. Tickets for kids 6 to 12 are $5 online, $10 at the door. Kids under 5 get in for free.
If you plan to park there, you’ll have to pay $10.
