GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Grand Junction Police Department has issued an accident alert due to slick roads and icy conditions this morning.

Any driver involved in a minor collision should report the accident at the GJPD lobby within the next 48 hours.

Call the police immediately if accidents or hit-and-run incidents involving injury, suspected injury, or death occur. Accidents involving suspected intoxicated drivers or involving city or government vehicles. Also report if an accident requires towing services.

This policy will be in place until further notice.
