MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) -- A Grand Junction man is behind bars after an alleged stabbing.
Grand Junction Police officers arrested Danny Bilyeu after they say he called 911 to report that he'd stabbed someone on April 12.
The arrest warrant says officers contacted Bilyeu at the C&F store on Pitkin Avenue and that the victim had a half-inch wide stab wound to the middle of his chest, a cut on his cheek and numerous other cuts.
Bilyeu is facing attempted second-degree murder charges and first-degree assault charges.
He's being held on a $50,000 bond.
