GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) More than 800 Olive Garden restaurants across the country made special lunch deliveries to fire departments, police stations and hospital emergency rooms to support those who are laboring on Labor Day.
The local Olive Garden paid a visit to the Grand Junction Police Department and served officers and staff lunch to thank them for their service to the community.
Corporal Mark Donohue said although working on a holiday is never easy, he appreciates the recognition the GJPD got.
Since their doors opened in Grand Junction 10 years ago, Olive Garden has rotated between fire departments, hospitals and police stations to deliver lunch.
