Grand Valley Peace and Alternative Gifts host annual Christmas fair

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Grand Valley Peace & Justice and Alternative Gifts International are holding their 22nd annual Alternative Christmas Fair at the Lincoln Park Barn. The fair will begin at 10 a.m. and go till 4 p.m. today, Nov. 18.

Many national and international nonprofit organizations will be sharing information about the services they provide to their communities. Shoppers that would like to donate to the organizations will receive holiday cards.

Handmade crafts made by artisans in Uganda will be available at the Fair as well as Café Justo Fair Trade Coffee to benefit the Sheepherder Project.

Local noprofits have decorated Christmas trees for their organizations for the silent auction.
