High school launches smart phone app

Fruita, Colo. (KKCO) --- Fruita Monument High School is joining Central High School, Palisade High School and Mt. Garfield Middle School by launching a new app for smart phones.

Parents and students can access school calendars and school officials will be able to send out alerts about events and emergency situations.

The app can be downloaded for free on the app store on your phone and can be found by searching the school's name.
