Crews responded to a house fire around 8:00 on Friday night.
Four Grand Junction Fire trucks, along with the Grand Junction Police Department were called to the scene of a house fire in the 800 block of Colorado Avenue.
Officials believe the blaze began outside below their porch and was starting to spread to the basement.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the home, which only experienced exterior damage.
Officials say there were no injuries.
At this time the Red Cross will not be called, and residents will likely be able to stay in their home tonight.
