GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - We're down to our last 4 teams of the tournament, and all of them would be worthy of taking home the title.

The afternoon game saw two team with contrasting styles; Spartanburg Methodist brought their big bats to the yard while Cochise has only allowed 4 total runs so far in the tournament.

Cochise came out on top 10-3 thanks to fundamental baseball and great pitching by Zach Rodgers, who made his first start of the post season after coming off a back injury.

Central Alabama will take on Palm Beach state at 7:30.

If Central Alabama wins, they will face Cochise on Friday at 7:00 in part 1 of the championship game. If Central Alabama wins Friday, they win the tournament; however, if Cochise wins Friday it forces a true championship game to be played at 7:00 on Saturday between Central Alabama and Cochise.

If Palm Beach wins, they get an automatic bye for Friday's game due to them playing 5 games so far and Central Alabama only playing 4. That would set up a semi-final game between Central Alabama and Cochise, to be played on Friday at 7:00, and then the winner of that game would face Palm Beach on Saturday at 7:00 for all the marbles.
