GRAND JUNCTION, COLO (KKCO) -- Heather Jensen appeared in a Mesa County courtroom on Thursday morning for an advisement. Her attorney asked for more time and the case was set over. She'll be back in court in a couple of weeks.
In early May, prosecutors told KKCO 11 News they had extended a plea deal to Jensen's attorney but wouldn't give details about the offer. Jensen's attorney hasn't given any indication if she's considering the deal.
Heather Jensen was arrested in January. She's charged with child abuse resulting in death, criminally negligent homicide and false reporting.
Her two young sons, William and Tyler dyed of hyperthermia after being left in her 4Runner on the Grand Mesa last November.
