LA PLATA COUNTY (KKCO) - Officials say Dylan Redwine's remains have been found.
According to our sister station, KUSA, says human remains sent to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for testing have have been identified as the missing Redwine.
Investigators say they found several items during a five-day search in the Vallecito area, near where Redwine went missing. Among the items taken from the site, human remains.
Authorities have briefed both of the boy's parents, Mark and Elaine.
The search started Saturday and wrapped up Wednesday, where investigators and volunteers worked a 12 mile stretch of Middle Mountain near Vallecito.
Redwine was last seen at his father's home in Vallecito last November. His father says he went to run errands Nov. 19 and Dylan was gone when he returned.
