CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO) - The Clifton Loco convenience store was held up at gunpoint late Sunday night and authorities are still looking for the suspect.

The Sheriff's Office says the clerk was just about done with his shift at the Loco store, 573 32 Road, before midnight on Sunday when he was robbed.

The clerk says a Hispanic man pointed a gun at him and demanded money, which the clerk gave him. The clerk was uninjured.

The suspect took off from the scene in a white Cadillac Escalade. He is in his 30s, clean-shaven, with short dark hair. He has tattoos on both arms and was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The clerk says the suspect spoke in broken English.

Anyone with information is asked to call 244-3267.
