GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. 'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the mall all the shoppers were stirring trying to find the best haul.

These shoppers spent time for the ones who were not naughty, but nice marking off their lists and checking it twice to make sure they got everything they need to fit under the tree.

There has been an increase in traffic at the Mesa Mall with shoppers working hard to try to deck the halls.

The busiest shopping week of the season has hit and the mall is so crowded there is hardly a place to sit.

There are nearly five thousand parking spots for shoppers to use and after the days went on there weren't any left to choose.

"We've seen every single one of those filled up on Saturday, on Sunday, yesterday and even as this afternoon is progressing I'm sure it'll get much much busier as well," Chelsi Reimer, Mesa Mall.

People are also rushing in to get the best deals as retailers are offering discounts of 40 to 80 percent off making shoppers fall head over heels.

It brought many in the doors and got them excited to check out the stores and on Christmas morning they'll see smiling faces from the great deals they got after shopping at these places.
