Man shoots himself in leg at Steamboat Springs range

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- A 62-year-old man is recovering after shooting himself in the leg at a firing range in Steamboat Springs.

The Steamboat Pilot & Today reports (http://bit.ly/S7COua ) sheriff's deputies and city firefighters were called to the Routt County Rifle Club at 2:15 p.m. Friday, where sheriff's office Cpl. Mark Mackey says the man shot himself with a 9 mm handgun.

The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to be fine.

It's unclear how he shot himself.

    It seems REAL CLEAR to me how this individual shot HIMSELF in the Leg ~~~, It's called : "NOT FOLLOWING PROPER FIREARM SAFTY" !! (and individual is spelt with an (i), not an (e), just to be clear) That's caused by a lack of Morning coffee by the way.
