GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A man riding his bike was hit by a car -- but his bad luck didn't end there.
It happened around 6:30 Tuesday night near the Intersection of 29 Road and Dawn Drive.
Colorado State Patrol says there were no serious injuries to the cyclist or the driver -- but the cyclist admitted to troopers that he had been drinking and was high on marijuana at the time of the crash.
The cyclist was ticketed for not having reflectors on his bicycle at night and will face charges for being under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
The driver of the car received a ticket for driving without a license.
