GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- A massive branch from a cottonwood tree crashes through the roof of a home.
It happened 533 Mockingbird Lane around 11:15 p.m. Saturday night.
The Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the scene, but was not sure what caused the branch to break off.
A utility company was called to shut down the house for the evening, and thankfully there were no injuries.
Authorities remind homeowners to be aware of the trees around their homes-- including neighbor's trees that might hang over their property-- that could potentially cause damage.
