Middle schoolers prepare for college with CMU and WCCC


GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It's never too early to start preparing for your future.

Tuesday Colorado Mesa University, the Western Colorado Community College and Mesa County School District 51 worked together to make sure middle schoolers began thinking about life after high school.

The fair allowed kids to learn about and interact with possible career choices they may have been unaware of.

Technical services, business, medicine, and media were among the careers featured for the middle schoolers. It wasn't all about work, though; for example, wheelchair races and eating contests showed the kids that medicine could also be fun.
