MONTROSE, Colo. (AP) -- A Montrose woman is being accused of filing a false police report after she told authorities a gun-wielding intruder shot her in the arm.
Authorities say Cindy Booth told them she was home alone on Tuesday when the shooting occurred.
According to the Montrose Daily Press, police say a Montrose police officer who lives in the home was on patrol at the time and was not involved in the incident.
Booth could not be reached for comment.
