KKCO 11 news is hearing from concerned viewers about an alleged threat against Fruita Monument High School that is spreading on Twitter.
We contacted the Fruita Police Department and they tell us it's just a rumor and that there is no legitimate threat against the school and no one has been arrested.
District 51 officials tell KKCO 11 News that there are similar rumors going around for other schools in the district as well.
The say that local law enforcement agencies have followed up with all the leads and have not found any credible threats or the source of the rumors.
However, increased law enforcement will be present at all schools in the district tomorrow.
