GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Samaritan’s Purse presents their annual Operation Christmas Child project at Chic-fil-A today, Nov. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The project involves filling a shoe box with gifts to receive a free Chic-fil-A sandwich.

If you are interested, find an empty shoe box or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box, but it isn’t required. You must determine if the box will be for a boy or a girl and the child’s age category. For the gifts, please include toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Do not include used items, war-related toys, chocolate, or perishable foods and liquids. Please donate $7 for each shoe box you prepare to help for shipping and other project costs. Lastly, place a rubber band around each closed box and drop it off at Chic-fil-A.

The Chic-fil-A is located at 522 Bogart Lane, Grand Junction, CO. 81505. If you would like to follow your box you can make your donation at the link below.
