GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A parent of a student at Central High School has sent an angry letter to the Colorado Board of Education complaining about a raunchy video featuring students grinding on one another.

The video appears to be shot on a cell phone, and shows students dancing suggestively with each other. It appears the video is meant to be used as a lesson to students on what is considered inappropriate. In several scenes, girls are bent over at more than an acceptable angle, and boys "sneak" up behind them, at the water fountain and at their lockers, and grind on them.

Once students grind, or "freak," they are reprimanded by others, including teachers.

It appears the video is meant to be a tool to show students how to dance appropriately. It is 3:20 of mostly students grinding on one another at different angles. At one point, a girl is dancing at the angle deemed "inappropriate," and a boy comes up with a protractor, measures the angle the girl is bent over, then shakes his head "no" at the camera.

One parent fired off an angry email to the Colorado Board of Education. She says the video was played for the entire student body at a pep rally last week.

Here is an excerpt from her email:

"It is utterly inappropiate and I am amazed that the Principal would allow such a display of sex to be displayed on school property.
This is a disgrace to Mesa County School District and a scar on those students at CHS who take their education seriously. It appears the leadership at Central High has reached a point where the management of the school is completly out of control. Although some found this ok and funny to share, I don't think many parents will."

The video was posted on You-Tube for public view, it has since been password protected, you can link to the video below.

School District 51 has yet to comment on the video.
