Phase II of the I-70B reconstruction complete
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - After a year of construction, phase two of the I-70B reconstruction project is now complete.
Crews have been working hard since April of 2011 to reconstruct lanes and improve the safety from 24 3/4 Road East to 25 Road.
The final landscaping, signs, pavement markings and speeds will be finished by the end of Thursday, Nov. 22. The project was completed on time and under budget.
Phase three will begin in the spring of 2013 and include improvements from 25 Road to Rimrock Avenue.
