REC searching for local tutors

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Riverside Educational Center is a local non-profit program that offers academic tutoring for students in the Grand Valley. The center is looking for volunteers to tutor for grades 6-12 from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Tutors are also needed for grades k-5 from 4:20 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Volunteer trainings will be scheduled throughout the month of November. The team is looking to recruit 80 or more volunteers.
