GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The Affordable Care Act has been met with a lot of controversy and now the Connect for Health Colorado website is the newest topic of debate.
Colorado State Representative Jared Wright sent a letter to Colorado State Auditor Dianne Ray asking for an investigation to be conducted into the spending of the health care website.
"Average folks here at home are struggling just to get by we have people in Denver that are spending money by the millions," Wright.
Wright said $56 million has already been spent on Colorado's health exchange and tax payers deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent.
Ray has responded to Wright's letter and scheduled a discussion about it during the Audit Committee's January meeting.
