RIFLE, Colo. Water conservation measures have been lifted for Rifle residents.

The Graham Mesa Water Treatment Facility experienced a component failure in one of three processes used to treat the city's water on Tuesday afternoon.

The damaged components have been removed, however permanent repairs are still projected to take six to eight weeks.

Despite the removed component, water is being produced at normal seasonal rates.
