MESA COUNTY, Colo. A Sunday drive took a major turn after a truck was involved in a rollover accident.

Colorado State Patrol responded to the call at about 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon after a man flipped his Ford F-350, which was hauling a camper trailer and boat trailer at the border of Mesa and Delta Counties.

The car was on Highway 50 at mile marker 51 when it crashed, and all of the parts of the vehicle combination came apart during the crash.

The driver was the only one in the truck and he was transported to an area hospital after sustaining moderate injuries.

CSP was working on getting the vehicles towed and re-opened the road a couple hours after the incident.

Authorities will continue to investigate the cause.
