Rollover crash victim airlifted to hospital

A man is airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries tonight after rolling his car several times.

It happened around 4:50 PM near mile marker 25 on Highway 139. Witnesses tell KKCO 11 News the car rolled several times before coming to a stop in a ditch on the side of the highway.

Colorado State Patrol is looking at speed and alcohol as possible contributing factors. The man was wearing his seat belt.

One of the first witnesses to arrive on scene says the driver was able to respond but was having trouble breathing.

Troopers are urging people to pay attention to the speed limit even when driving in areas that are not heavily populated.
