GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Get "wrapped up" in a good cause Thursday at Roasted Espresso and Subs.

Coffee shop owner Alex Mackey has Saran-wrapped himself to a pole in front of Roasted to raise funds for Partners' Superstars.

Partners, a local nonprofit that pairs children with mentors, has challenged businesses across Grand Junction to come up with enough money to qualify for a field day and barbecue on June 8 and 9" a day for "superstars."

So from 8 a.m. to noon on June 6, Mackey will be drawing curious spectators to the corner of 5th Street and Colorado Avenue, encouraging them grab some coffee, enjoy the shenanigans and donate some money for a local cause.

Roasted is located at 502 Colorado Avenue.

Check out the videos below to see how other local teams are preparing for the Superstars Day.
