FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO)-- A semi truck accident backs up traffic on the I-70 Fruita exit.
A Fruita Police officer says a semi pulling a flatbed trailer took the eastbound exit 19 from I-70 so the driver could reattach the trailer.
However, he did not reattach it correctly, and when he drove back onto the roundabout, the trailer twisted and broke off the semi, according to Fruita Police.
All the cargo stayed on, but the flatbed blocked traffic in the southern roundabout.
A tow truck was called to pull away the trailer.
