Police release details about sexually violent predator

GJPD Bulletin: Christopher Stubblefield

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) — Police have released new details about the sexually violent predator who is making his home in Grand Junction.

Christopher Stubblefield will be living in Community Corrections at 650 South Avenue.

In 2007, Stubblefield was convicted of attempted sex assault on a child and unlawful sexual contact.

He registered his move with the Grand Junction Police Department, and under to state law, the department must notify the public.

Notification bulletins have been mailed to the addresses around Community Corrections.

GJPD is also broadcasting more information about sexually violent predators in the community on Mesa County Cable Channel 12 today at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The video is about 20 minutes long.

Mesa County is home to 317 registered sex offenders. Ten live in Palisade, 32 live in Fruita and 278 live in Grand Junction. To see a map of their locations, click the below link under Related Links.
