Montrose, Colo. – Denise Distel with Dalby, Wendland & Co., is putting on a fundraiser in hopes to purchase new furniture for Hilltop’s Tri-County Resources (TCR) women’s shelter in Montrose.
Other members of the company office will be running or walking laps for donations on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Montrose High School track. Budgetline Furniture and A & Y Gallery have offered to provide furniture and décor at a discount.
The goal is to make women and young children feel like they are at home in the shelter. Last year, 70 women and 58 children took shelter at TCR.
If you would like to help you can email Denise with pledges at ShelterShuffle@DalbyCPA.com. Checks can be mailed to, or dropped off at the Dalby, Wendland & Co. Montrose office located at 501 E. Main St.
