State and county offices to close Monday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Most of Mesa County’s offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

The one-day closure includes state driver’s license offices, the Department of Public Health and Environment’s vital records office, Colorado Parks and Wildlife Service offices and administrative offices.

Colorado’s state parks will be open, but the administrative offices and visitor centers will be closed.

One day closures for Mesa County are as follows: the Health Department and Department of Human Services, Clerk and Recorder, Planning, Public Works, all offices in the Old Courthouse, Regional Transportation Planning Office, Facilities and Parks Departments, Mesa County Fairgrounds, Tri-River Extension, Records/Civil and Inmate Visitation for the Sheriff's Office.
